Spicy Salmon Bowl with Mango Salsa and Jalapeno Cream

Equipment
- 1 baking sheet
- 2 bowls one for jalapeno cream, one for mango salsa
Ingredients
Salmon Bowl
- 4-6 oz salmon cut into bite sized pieces I added a post about cutting the skin off of Salmon here
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 head shredded lettuce
- your favorite hot sauce I used Old Bay hot sauce on half and
- 1 bag tortilla chips optional but I love chips!
Jalapeno Cream
- 6 oz cream cheese room temp
- 1-2 tbsp chopped jalapenos pickled do best
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Mango Salsa
- 1 1/2 cups diced mango I just used one mango which was around this much
- 1 jalapeno seeded and chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro (I use closer to 3/4 cup because I love it!) chopped
- 1 tbsp lime zest
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/3 cup salsa verde
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 F
- Toss salmon chunks with olive oil, onion powder, chili powder, hot sauce, and pinch of salt and pepper.
- Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray or use a layer of parchment paper
- Arrange salmon in a single layer. Roast 12-15 minutes until fish is cooked to your taste.
- During last minute switch to broil and set fish aside.
- Combine all ingredients for jalapeno cream and stir to combine.
- Combine all ingredients for mango salsa to combine (also an option to add avocado)
- Add chips, a spoon of salmon, jalapeno cream, and mango salsa to individual bowls!
