Lash Lift

Lash lift

I went to my Ocularist for an eye cleaning last Friday. This process does not take very long at all, maybe 15-20 minutes. I hate I must drive nearly four hours for such a quick procedure but Carolina Eye Prosthetics in Burlington, NC is the best! My mom also lives a little over an hour away so I can kill two birds with one stone and make a visit out of it! It feels so good after a polish! You are supposed to go every year but with the crazy year we had last year I didn’t make it. While I was there, I decided to get an eyelash lift. I saw they were offering this service now via the Instagram and was excited an appointment was open! It is supposed to last 6-8 weeks so time will tell. I am happy with it so far. The change is so subtle I am probably the only person who could even tell but since I work from home and do not wear eye makeup every day it adds a little spark to my life. 😊 The whole process takes a little over an hour but it is very relaxing. The glue burned my eyes for a few seconds, but I haven’t had any discomfort sense. I would probably never do this anywhere besides my Ocularist and honestly it seems kind of stupid now to risk damage of any kind to my good eye. I think preparing for this IVF is messing with my hormones again so I just went all in! Here are some before, during, and after pics. Like I said the difference is very subtle and I don’t have long lashes anyway. Just a little something to make you feel girly. I’m always in for primping!
